Chemistry Teacher & Science Educator · B.S. Chemistry (Honours) · GCUF 2025
Dedicated Chemistry educator with 4 years of classroom experience and award-winning research. Beyond the lab: a youth football coach, English poet, and Writers' Club leader who believes the precision of science and the creativity of the arts make each other stronger.
I am a Chemistry educator with a strong academic foundation and hands-on laboratory expertise. Holding a B.S. in Chemistry (Honours) from Government College University Faisalabad with a CGPA of 3.33/4.00, I have spent four years translating complex chemical concepts into engaging, accessible lessons for Matriculation and Intermediate students.
My independent undergraduate research — recognised with the Best Undergraduate Project Award and selected for the GCUF Business Incubation Centre — demonstrates my ability to design rigorous experimental protocols and produce commercially viable results. I also earned the Best Teacher Award at Al Hamd Academy of Science in 2025.
I am now seeking opportunities at international schools and educational institutions where I can bring both subject expertise and evidence-based teaching to inspire the next generation of scientists.
Four years of classroom teaching coupled with hands-on industrial quality control experience.
Consistent first-place distinction throughout schooling and an award-winning university research project.
Analytical Chemistry · Organic Chemistry · Physical Chemistry · Environmental Chemistry · Nanomaterials · Quality Management in Chemical Industries
An online non-credit course authorised by the University of Manchester and offered through Coursera. Covered UV-Vis, IR/FTIR, NMR, and mass spectroscopy fundamentals.
Award-winning applied chemistry research selected for the GCUF Business Incubation Centre's commercialisation pathway.
Independently designed and executed a multi-stage experimental protocol for formulating a commercial-grade cleaning product, covering safety validation, performance testing, and long-term stability assessment — from bench to Business Incubation Centre presentation.
Analytical instrumentation, laboratory techniques, pedagogy, and software proficiency.
English: reading, writing, and classroom instruction at a professional level.
Actively engaged with the broader scientific community through international conferences, seminars, and professional workshops.
A great chemistry educator doesn't stop at the classroom door. The precision of a lab protocol, the discipline of a training drill, and the exactness of a well-crafted poem all draw from the same well.
In my free time I work with young players — teaching football skills, teamwork, and tactical thinking. Coaching children demands the same core toolkit as Chemistry teaching: breaking complex skills into manageable steps, adapting instruction to each individual's ability, and building confidence through progressive, structured challenges. What happens on the pitch mirrors what happens in the classroom.
I write English poetry and publish it on my Instagram page @poemistism. Poetry demands the same precision that chemistry does — choosing exactly the right word for exactly the right meaning, leaving nothing superfluous. This discipline directly sharpens the scientific communication skills essential for writing research reports, curriculum materials, and lab documentation, and makes me a more articulate teacher in the classroom.
As Information Secretary of the English Poetry section of Writers' Club — one of GCUF's most active literary societies — I organised and managed numerous cultural and literary events throughout the 2024–25 academic session. The role demanded meticulous planning, clear inter-departmental communication, and the ability to bring people together around a shared creative purpose: skills that directly complement a life in education and research.
Open to teaching and research opportunities, particularly with international schools and institutions worldwide.
